About:
dublab is a non-profit radio station founded in Los Angeles in 1999. Fostering a deep sense of community and care in their sonic explorations, dublab has been an integral part of my life for quite some time.
In March 2017 I was privileged with becoming one of their monthly Artists in Residence. Each day I crafted a unique piece of time-based visual media for their social media accounts.
Production Notes:
This was such a special time and opportunity to give back to a community that gave me so much. Many of the pieces incorporated recording coastal waters, resampling assets from old projection art pieces, home studio marionettes of letters and experiments with photo trays and water.
Looking back at these vignettes makes me smile thinking about the process and love I poured in to each one.
